-The Managing Director of The Helix and President of DCU, Professor Ferdinand Von Prondzynski, was recently awarded an increase in salary of 29,275 euros, bringing his annual salary from 206,725 euros to 236,000 euros. -Since The Helix opened five years ago, the staff have not received the pay increases due to us under the terms of the National Agreements, \"Sustaining Progress\" and \"Towards 2016\". -With the help of our Union, SIPTU, we have tried to secure these increases without interrupting the services we provide to you. -We are currently being paid at least 20% less than we should be earning.
