UIC (Urban Improvement Construction http://uicstl.com/ ) is working towards approval of such a project and needs your show of support! They have a final hearing at City Hall on 2/26/18. I have been hearing from so many of you who want to see our neighborhood embrace thoughtful and modern design rather than repeating the past. These signatures are proving to the planning board that there is real energy behind bringing this kind of innovation to our streets.

Seeing this level of enthusiasm for the Santino Court project confirms that our community truly values forward thinking design. I am genuinely moved by how many of you recognize the potential for this architecture to elevate our neighborhood.

We need a subdivision which allows for lovers of Mid century style a place to live!
UIC excels in working within the context of the surrounding neighborhood. In 5 or 10 years, Creve Coeur will be glad these went through, when the appeal of all the other same-old houses offered by other developers will be worn thin. Very exciting!
St Louis was at one time a hub of progressive modern architecture and design, but that sadly has not been the case for decades now. Our city and our Region desperately need to embrace modernism once again and support new, contemporary designs both to support the arts, as well as the general enrichment of aesthetic variety, character, and personality. I strongly support the development of a contemporary, modernist subdivision.
I’m a native of Creve Coeur, and this project will set Creve Coeur apart from the rest of suburbia.
I think this would be great for St. Louis, as a project like this could gain national recognition among the modern architecture community.
Same thing should happen, throughout west county.
This development would be a nice change to the typical traditional architecture in the area.

$700K starting point is too steep! Modern architecture was originally started as affordable houses for the masses. Do better!
