Salty Brew is such an asset to Tokerau. I love walking there in the mornings and meeting all sorts of people. I always end up having a great convo with people I’ve never met and have even made some friends. The family that run it are doing an amazing job. Will be sad if this place has to go.

Liam and Tash have created such an awesome vibe that brings the community together .The amount of people I have meet through Salty Brew is amazing .They are such hard working people who are just trying to give there family a better life, to have a few people do what ever they can to destroy their dream, should be ashamed . As far as I can see it’s just child like behaviour and they need to grow up. No one I know has ever complained about traffic in the street / area as most people walk.

The mind boggles how any half decent human could try shut down a family run business. May the decision makers not underestimate the power of this cute wee business two young parents pour their heart and soul into, let alone the custom it brings in from out of town. In a world of doom and gloom may common sense and decency prevail. Also - the fresh baking is second to none, ain't no one gunna change that!
