This judge was doing what he needed to do. It is a long known legal theory that White juries win trials based on stereotypes and prejudices alone. So, the fact a judge wanted to do what was right shows that racism and justice are not one in the same. Please support this man.

I stand with Judge Stephens. A defendant should be tried by a jury of one's peers, an equal justifiable ratio or a mixture of ethnicities

What he was dong is just. Juries should represent society at large.

If this is the same Olu Stevens I knew from high school in MD he was raised by a very successful and strong African Mother to succeed and always be objective and fair. He and his brother have always been leaders and shown time and again sound judgment and a broader understanding of current events and a great world view. Have a conversation. So whatever this is, its a squeeze. Voicing ones opinion of what ones perspective is a right not privilege. Look at Mr. Trump...he is exercising his right to the fullest...

I want this foolish act broadcast across the country. Let the nation know Ali's hometown is not as color blind as it professes.

I am signing this petition because I believe Judge Olu Steven is a man of integrity whose advocacy for fair trial should not be misinterpreted, therefore he should be paid every penny during the suspension. Other murderers in the name of police officers never lose a dime from their pay cheques.

Injustice anywhere, is a threat to Justice everywhere. Power to the People!

I fully support Judge Olu Stevens. This suspension should be thrown out and Judge Stevens reinstated immediately.
