Thank you Judge Stevens for your courage. It is about time a judge stood up and said, "Hey, this is not a jury of this defendants peers." My nephew is serving life in prison for armed robbery after being tried by a white judge, an all white jury, and a white D.A. The detectives were white and racist. All of this happened in Jefferson Parish Louisiana which is one of the parishes responsible for more black boys and men going to prison in the state. I wish more judges would do the wright things by Black defendants. My family and I are keeping you in prayer, I believe that God in with you and so are we.

It's about time that America stops being hypocritical about WHITE SUPREMACY and start admitting that the criminal justice system like all other systems in America in constructed on the fundamental belief that white people have Constitutional Rights to fairness in the criminal justice system while Black people have no Constitutional Right to anything in America. As a defender of this country and it's Constitution , I say stop the hypocritical nonsense and allow justice to be exactly what it is supposed to be to EVERYONE eligible for Constitutional protection. Anyone objecting to Judge Olu Stevens trying to apply fairness to a criminal trial also opposes fairness to the criminal justice system, and that makes them a bigot and a traitor to the principles of the Constitution of the United States.

It is time for the world to opean there eyes , we have all been through a lot every since almost to the begging of cilvilition and here we all still having unfair uses either it's gender rights , race , being told who you can date or what you can do for who you are and most of those people who makes those laws are ingroant bigots . I have been through a lot of crap this year of 2015 in Texas for , being myself , my race , my belief and the people belief who I defended ! Don't you see now the world needs to opean there eyes and fallow this petition through , if this comment does not give people the incoursgement to past this petition I don't know what is .

A jury of actual peers is important. Peers need so have some sort of commonality and in this biased society built on slavery based on race it is clear that race should be a criterion.

Sounds like he did the correct thing because the jury was not representative of the community. We need fair trials, not more corruption.

It is high time juries reflect the community at large instead of Republican "Jim Crow" juries in Kentucky.

I grew up in Louisville, KY and I know how messed up the Judicial System is there and am confident that what Judge Olu is standing against is in justice. I will be flying in tonight but unable to make the gathering to night but support you.
