I share Judge Stevens point of view as well. The "war on drugs" primarily effect and target urban areas, which in most cases, are Black Americans. Prison statistics show this to be true. The jury should in fact be a jury of his peer........ his community. I am in no way suggesting that he's innocent. In fact, if he has broken the law, he has to suffer the consequences, but unfairly stacking the odds against rehabilitation and reintroduction into the society by a jury that can't identify with reasons he chose that particular path or the day to day struggles that may have lead him down that path, is not justice. I believe Judge Stevens simply wants an impartial jury to listen to both sides and act accordingly

African Americans do have a constitutional right to a jury of their peers. A snot nosed racist bigot brat prosecutor should not be allowed to continue to implement the Jim Crow jury and launch a media and cyber lynching of Judge Stevens a man elected to do what he's doing!

It is very important that those that say all loves matter, mean it by practicing fairness in all matters amongst the different ethnic backgrounds in America.

Its an injustice not to have your peers represented when on trial. Its unfair to take him away from his cases because he's trying to be fair.
