We need more individuals like him. The situation highlights the injustices in our 'justice' systems.

This judge was right in the dismissal of a jury that was not representative of the communities we live in. In this day and age there should never be an all white jury for any case being tried, point blank period. I wish more judges would have the same type of courage and take a stance. He was right in his actions of dismissal of a jury that is not representative of the community. We need momore judges with the courage to take the same stance. The DA and the other chief judges should walk along side of him to always ensure a diverse jury. It's not that hard.

There's absolutely no excuse why Judge Olu Stevens has to explain himself...protecting us (the Black community) from KKK style juries of the Jim Crow era!

Thank you Judge Stevens for speaking up for fair justice for the black community.

Over 20% of the population of Jefferson County (Louisville) is black. If a Jury cannot represent that fact, then it is a failure of the Justice System to provide a fair trial and Judge Stevens appears to clearly be trying to provide adequate due process (and rectify that lack of representation).
