This is ridiculous! He is a judge, it is a part of his job to ensure fairness in his court. How can you in good conscience watch a trial begin knowing it is NOT a jury of peers? This man should be lauded not besmirched.

He did nothing wrong...what's wrong with correcting problems and being fair and impartial...which is more than most white judges

I've only seen snippets of the posts and the situation between Stevens and Wine, but Wine is an idiot and Stevens has been very politely airing Wine's idiocy. It should be Wine who is removed.

The injustice is there is no truth to the systematic injustice imposed for centuries on the african American citizens. Your decision to crucify this man for speaking the truth only solidifies that this is a hidden secret in mainstream society.

I support anyone, especially those serving the public, who boldly and courageously do their jobs by applying fairness in a professional manner. Judge Stevens seems to exhibit fairness in his courtroom. He asked for a more representative jury that looks like the community. This is done as a checks and balance protocol to ensure a more equitable judicial experience. Since police cannot be held accountable for their actions; then, Judge Stevens should not be held accountable for taking action against the racial imbalance of a jury and its potential damaging outcomes on those defendants who do not "look" like the jury of their peers. This decision to punish is unjust.
