I hate that they do evil thibgs like this to our people. No one is going after the judges who gove 6 months probation to rapist. Or judges who let seroulous offenders walk on bonds and the judges who allow offiers and fake community reps walk free after the murder us! I hate that they are rail roading this GREAT JUDGE for wanting fairness for a defendant.

In today's society one should hope the sophistication of a democracy would seek justice...fairness for ALL people. Hence, Judge Stevens IS 1000% correct!

Every person facing trial should be judged by a jury of his or her peers. That said, it's imperative there be black jurors for a black defendant because people of color have gone through centuries of suffering together and will be more apt to understand the thought and emotions of anyone black up for trial.

This should lead to an investigation of the composition jury pools aond panels for the last _____ years. Has any judge anywhere else in the US done the same? The prosecutor himself might have done the same thing, recalling that his job is to see that justice is done.

It is our right to be judged by a jury of our peers... He was only doing what's right,.. How can you expect him to justly uphold the law when the law is wrong... is he supposed to turn his head and let injustice prevail? I support Judge Olu Stevens!!!

Don't punish someone who is doing a great job and acting in a way a judge is supposed to, fair! It's supposed to be a jury of your PEERS! And if that's not happening as a judge you do what lawfully and morally right and correct the problem!

A jury is supposed to reflect the community where the defendant resides. This NEVER happens. End racism!

Brave steps by individuals throughout our history have led to revolutions. Economic, social, and criminal justice is long overdue. We have been the victims of this world's most horrible and pervasive holocausts. The time for a new civil rights and human rights movement is now.
