Stay strong Judge. Thank you for standing up for what you believe in. The community THANKS YOU for being honorable, truthful, and a leader in your position. More than can be said for that disgusting prosecutor. Again, thank you for your fight for fairness in the court room.

remove Judge Stevens from his cases for what?!! Because he's asking for diverse juries. To remove him would be sending a message to all African Americans & Kentucky that we are not wanted in the courtrooms.

He is correct. A jury of your peers, as a person of color, is never an all white jury. This country is not color blind nor has it evolved beyond its hateful history towards people of color.

If the constitution states that a Jury should be composed of your peers, it means people of your race and in proper representation of your city of abode. An all white jury sitting on an African-American case is definitely a bias one, no question about that..

The law states jury of your peers. Peers meaning like or having simularities to you. How can a jury be fair if it is all white when it comes to black folks. Would it be fair to have a all black jury for white folk. It is our duty to speak out about any injustice taking place. As a judge it is your job to make sure every individual that enters your court room gets a fair trial. To try to kick him off the bench for speaking up about unfair acts, injustice and or unethical procedures within his court room or any for that matter, is a disgrace to our judicial system. Shame on you all. We should be proud to have such an honorable judge representing our judicial system, to the highest standards.

It's his job to be fair and make the best decision, that's why he's on the bench. When he makes the decision why them fire him. This was too harsh of a punishment for him. If he should have been recused then do so. To fire him seems as if you may be sending another message. Not saying you are out not just saying what it may look like.
