I as so proud of you, my heart bleeds because of the injustice we all see o.j. a daily basis. I would like to be a more vocal supporter here o.j. Houston, Tx. How can I help?

I support Judge Steven's in his role of upholding being judged by an equal racial represented jury pools

This is not fair because there have been white judges who couyld care less dfor years if there are any black people as jurors when a jury is chosen.

I support the stance that this judge is taken. I work in criminal defense as an investigator in the State of Georgia. One of the things that I've noticed over the past few months is a increase of Black People being arrested for less than an ounce of marijuana which is a misdemeanor only to have those charges upgraded to felonies once the reach county lock-ups. The arresting officers are waiting until they reach the jail before they remove the contraband that way the defendant is charged with a felony because they cross a guard line with the small amounts of pot on them. We need to stand together on this. We are entitled to a jury of 'our peers'. How can our peers be white, have any of them ever shared any part of our history, our very being. How can they really related to our circumstances. They may say 'they are color blind' that's easy for them to say. We have no such option, we are born with a rich color, black, we cannot be color blind. While we easily accept people of all colors, races and ethnicity, simply because we are 'colored', they have the luxury of ignoring those they think are different because they are not 'pure' in their eyes. It is the reality in which people of color have had to exist, be they Black (of Afican descent or mixed), Chinese, Indian (American or from India), middle eastern. They bear the fortune of never having been marginalized as other races have been. Let our juries be of our peers.

Their is a move about to disenfranchise People of Color. First they want to Kill Us by any means necessary. Either hidden in the system, Treated unfairly through by the system, or by murder by ignoring the legal system. My Father, Rev. James A. Crumlin was a lawyer representing the NAACP and numerous African Americans who could no receive Justice in Louisville, KY via a corrupt system. The quote that "Justice is Blind." Must also that in Lousville tha "Justice is Racist and Illegal" because of it's inability to remove its blinders which allows hate filled people to continue to discriminate against people of color. We as a people must muster at every battle site to insure that our children and those to follow are allowed to grow and prosper and remain in excellent health. As David a Great Biblical Leader of Color once said, "Is Their Not A Cause" The cause of Rightousness and Justice. I support you Judge Olu Stevens.

It's a shame to know the country we feed is constantly trying to starve us in return. We need more judges and citizens that has the power and are willing to stand for ethical rights.

There should be fair justice of our peers.

I believe that a jury should be selected of a persons peers in their case to justice. or not.

Jury's should represent the area in which the person on trial lives. If you live in a mixed community the jury should be as such. There is no reason judge Stevens should have to worry about back lash for telling the truth
