Help support Judge Olu Stevens. No Justice No Peace

Racial bias by court officials have made jury selection for people of color a hazardous venture, where the sting of exclusion often is accompanied by painful insults and injurious commentary. This has seriously undermined the credibility and reliability of the criminal justice system, and there is an urgent need to eliminate this practice. I support Judge Olu Stevens for not sitting idle to this injustice and for speaking about these matters of public concern. Now the state moves to silence that speech which should alarm every man, woman and child.

All Jurors Should Reflect Their Communities. The Crime is Horrendous.. All White Jury is Jim Crow Racism..

We all must support at least with our signatures.

This is ridiculous. We have police officers who shoots a teen 16 times and he's still working. I've been on the other end of all white juries. That's not a jury of my peers. That's what this corrupt system wants. Let's give white criminals an all black jury.

Me as a young Blackmen in America I understand the unjuistice of the judicial system, as a teenager I made bad choices were I could've been in prison myself, but due to having an African American Woman Probation office. she gave me the option to go to a boot camp called Commanwealth Challenge in Virgina Beach, Va I violated my probation once and she knew that I could've ended up in the system like so many other lost young African American man that are raised in single family homes without male guidance our examples our discipline so I decided to go for that long hard 6 months and it was the best decision of my life and I thank her because she saved my life. I made it through that six month boot camp were I received my GED and also became a Mechant Marine and now I'm currently an real estate investor and will be starting school for business this summer, so basically what I'm saying is that I use to be these young African American men that's in his courtroom without a fair chance do to being judge by people that are not his peers and that have no real concern our compassion they would have if it was a young white meal in that court room which is shown by statics. I feel this Judges has stood against a failing system that has locked away so many young lost Blackmen that all they need is help and guidance like I did and I feel what he did was a good thing as a Judge and as a man... peace and stay blessed

The rule of "juries of your own peers" was instilled by the body politic of legislators. Stick to the rules, because fairness and justice is at the forefront of all issues, not racism.

I stand behind anyone who stands behind true justice for Black people. I wholeheartedly support what Judge Stevens is doing and has done to help ensure fair trials that live up to a "jury of their peers."

He did what was right. When you stand for what you believe in the truth will always reveal itself. We have a system of injustice he was doing what was right.
