Damn shame! 2016, now if this doesn't tell that the system is broken and need to be dealt with by tearing it down and rebuilding it from the ground don't keep anything that's currently in it, it's all garbage and designed to not favor the melinated including you judge.

I have a dream that people would be judged by their conduct and not by their skin colour. And in an diverse and inclusive society we bring about greater equality and fairer representation.

Strauder v. West Virginia, the jury should be drawn from a group “composed of the peers or equals [of the defendant]; that is, of his neighbors, fellows, associates, persons having the same legal status in society as he holds." Thank you for following the law judge Stevens!

A wise man once said, "It is impossible to solve a problem with the same mindset that created it." I am not a believer in American justice, because She loves to write bad checks and defaults on promissory rights written to guarantee equity and fairness to all. Sadly, we have become the laughing stock of the world. In a land overrun by cowards, I pray God will speak his spirt of love, unity, justice and equality into the hearts of those who will preside over this hearing . If a mindset is to be changed, surely it starts with a change of heart.

I support his decision. We are supposed to be tried by a jury of peers. And with our history it is more important than ever that black people be on the jury of other black Americans in the name of true justice and fairness.
