I hereby affirm that Common Core standards are regressive and destructive to the most vulnerable children in our school systems, and that these standards erode parental rights and local control, this is federal legislative overreach. I ask the Ohio legislature to withdraw the state of Ohio from participation in the program. By doing this I am in favor of HB 237 which will repeal Common Core State Standards in Ohio and PARCC.
