We the undersigned strongly oppose the impending transfer of Archie Jefferson from the Academy for Life and Learning. Mr. Jefferson provides the essential character education for the students at the ALL. His years of experience and beneficial knowledge are key to the success and positive outcomes of students at the academy. His enthusiasm, encouragement, and mentorship strengthen the character of each and every student he teaches.  
In light of the reduction of staff this year and the notable absence of a guidance counselor, the ALL program’s foundation has already been significantly weakened. Because Archie Jefferson’s contribution to the ALL program is so important, removing him in the midst of the school year will be extremely disruptive and damaging to the ALL program.
