Final supporters
Whereas the twice annual Monkland street festivals do a phenomenal job of supporting local business and provide major benefits to the NDG community as a whole, I am signing this petition to offer my name and voice in support of these festivals and the group that organizes them.
*Note: This petition was started by NDG resident Noah Sidel, who has no official connection to the Monkland Merchants Association, Monkland Village Productions or the festivals themselves. It was started simply to offer support to the organizers and will be presented to the CDN-NDG borough when complete.

These are festivals that are not only great for the businesses in the area of Monkland/NDG, but they also highlight the diversity, eclecticism, warmth and spirit of the business, music, dance and art communities in greater Montreal!
I am a local business owner and absolutely love the monkland festival ! I receive good revenue and great exposure !!! All the families come out and support this great event.
I look forward to the Monkland Street Fest every year - especially for the Food Trucks! However, there have been concerns about noise levels which I can understand and would like to see addressed. Kudos to the organizers for putting Monkland Village on the map!
As an organizer of a Community Corn Roast in my area of Terrebonne I know the importance of having these festivals,it gives the residents a sense of belonging and pride to their community
I look forward to the Monkland Street Festivals every year, as do my kids. It's part of the season-long celebration of summer in Montreal, brings the community together, brings people out and into the open. NDG would not be the same without it.

When I lived in the Plateau, I made a point of heading to NDG for the Monkland Festival- it's got great energy, solid vendors, and real community feeling. We're keeping that tradition going now that we've moved to Pointe Claire! It's a fantastic reason to head into town!
