I really thought this might just be a small thing that floated around the faculty lounge but the momentum right now is honestly kind of overwhelming. It feels like we are finally acknowledging the weight of everything happening and I am just sitting here staring at the screen processing how many people are actually behind this.

War is never the answer. Too many innocent people suffering on both sides for nothing.
All lives matter, Russians' and Ukrainians'. For every life lost there will be grieving, pain and sorrow.
I stand with Ukraine and Russian academic freedom.
