I support the new upgrade at Skaha Lake with the waterslides, restaurant, splash pad, restaurant, boathouse, and marina.
This for me is not like it's anything new and using up all that green land, the marina is already there, it's only expanding and with the plans that I saw, it looks like green space is still going to be there.
Penticton is in need of a new attraction for families as we lost 2 major ones when Okanagan Amusements burnt down but never to be rebuilt, then the waterslides were taken down and never to be rebuilt.
Penticton has not been the same since. It's about time that we get some kind of a facelift, and starting with the new marina is a good plan.
You have my vote on this one.

I would love to see this implemented into Penticton. I wish it happened earlier! I grew up in the Penticton area my whole life and seeing the old watersides tore down destroyed me as a kid. We need this not only for Penticton's economy, but for families and people who genuinely want to have fun in town without driving all the way up to Kelowna, Vernon, or even the Lower Mainland. Please Penticton Council, do not be thwarted by the naysayers. Let Penticton grow into a healthy and beautiful city. Thank you.

Penticton needs some economic growth. We need people to stay and spend their money locally and support our local businesses. We need more for young families to do!

I fully support this economic build. Anything that give locals and tourist more options can only make our city a stinger more vibrant place to stay and visit. We need to stay progressive.

Penticton needs something like this for families! I've lived here my whole life and watch as the seniors make all the decisions. Please consider doing this!

Penticton is falling behind other Okanagan towns. Not only do we need to progress we also need to clean up our town. It's a beautiful place and deteriorating fast. Let's be proactive. This is not just a retirement community.
