Ms Permuy has been one of the best teachers that my kids have had. She really cares about the children and tries to lift them up. Everyone deserves a second chance and it would be a big mistake to let her go.

The children that shared this on social media should be reprimanded., especially if they were in 7th grade. The students that saw this should have politely let her know that she left her camera on. Instead they chose to ridicule her, and now her job is on the line. I think this is a learning lesson for all of us, on forgiveness, on appropriate use of social media, on treating others how we’d like to be treated. This is not a reason to let a teacher go. Especially if she’s good at teaching and inspires students. Especially in the middle of a pandemic.

Ms Permuy was an amazing teacher that never failed to make her students feel cared for and noticed. yea she may have vaped but i’m sure she feels really bad about it know and regrets it. i can bet all my money that we’ll switch out ms de la cámara, the spanish teacher, and the art teacher for the immaculate vibes of ms permuy. the fact that we all gathered here shows how much we care for her, and how mad we are that she’s being punished. she probable learned her lesson, and isn’t forgivness what st agnes is meant to preach? switch out the food that has literal diseases before you switch out our beloved ms permuy. #freemspermuy2020

Ms Permuy is a great teacher and it’s of our familiy’s opinion that she shouldn’t be put through this situation for something that it’s not against the school’s regulations and it’s not a crime nor immoral.

My daughter is in 7th grade and was present during the incident. It isnt like she hasn’t been exposed to this already and everyone makes mistakes. I don’t understand the point of the email that was sent out. It was very unnecessary and I can’t imagine what Ms Permuy must be feeling right now. She is an amazing person and is very good at her job. Very sad that this is how the poor teacher is getting treated.

My son was lucky to have Mrs Permuy, she is an excellent teacher , what happened was a stupid mistake that anyone can make, that doesn’t speak of her as a person, I hope the authorities reconsider this, it would be so unfair to let her go because of this.

Ms.Permuy is an amazing teacher and should not be fired. Yes she made a mistake but she is a thirty year old woman who can do whatever she wants unlike these 12-13 year olds vaping when they shouldn’t be. The student who filmed her should be punished.
