It is regretful that this is even being a subject of discussion. Firstly she is an excellent teacher. There was no harm in her action. I am more worried about real issues that should have more precedence to this and bothered by the fact that some students decided to go the sensasionalistic approach by posting social media. They should be made aware that today media is powerful and they are being detrimental to a good teacher’s career gratuitously. I hope that these kids never make a mistake that is sensasionalized and keeps them from going to a college of their choice or something similar. Lets concentrate on real issues. Lets make sure kids are really learning and things function seamlessly.

No me parece lógico de un colegio catolico, que un docente se quede sin trabajo, por una falta de este tipo. Una medida de este estilo sería bastante hipócrita de parte de la institución.

Take this opportunity to teach students on how they are supposed to act in situations like this, not pointing out of laughing at someone’s else’s mistake. Ms Permuy must feel terribly sorry and I am sure all the teachers included her learned the lesson of being extreme carefully with the devices. Let’s not forget the zooms, virtual classes this is all new for everyone. Show compassion rather than a cold punishment and let’s all learn from this.

Ms. Permuy is one of the best teachers at St. Agnes. My daughter Ava Simone was challenged and taught well by her. What happened was a mistake - should not be a terminal one.

Ms. Permuy is a great teacher and human being. Helping/tutoring children with disabilities, loving and caring for her students, giving them real life advise. She is cherished by my 9 year old daughter; she is a great aunt and friend. Being a Catholic school, forgiving such a low scale “offense” should be put into practice not only at St, Agnes, but every other school that teaches Gods way, forgiving, especially in such a rough year for everyone, should be put into practice. She has my total support. Thank you Ms. Permuy, Alejandra for being a great human-being with everyone and my daughter.

Ms Permuy fue maestra de mi hijo el año pasado. Ella es una persona muy querida por los jovenes, tiene una excelente llegada a esos niños. Considero que fue un error pero que todos merecemos una segunda oportunidad.
