Our three children have been a part of LAFSD for the past ten years and so grateful we are in a district that listens to our student and parent voices. We are so grateful that all our school board members who volunteer thousands of hours to best represent our families. With respect and love for these times of crises and decisions to be made.

As a parent of a Springhill 4th grader and a faculty member in Computer Science at UC Berkeley, I appreciate the extreme care that has been take to maintain the excellence of Lafayette Education and to craft a measured reopening plan that is designed to balance safety with continuity of education. Please resist calls to reopen prematurely.
