I have long noticed how easily corporate owned hospitals seem to get around any safe staffing level discussions, let alone actually having safe staffing levels.

Think this bill doesn't apply to you? There is a big difference between getting pain medication when you ask for it as opposed to when your nurse has time to get to it. Everyone should sign this petition because everyone is one major illness or accident away from being affected by nurse staffing levels.

I am a victim of whistleblowing. We need support to enable safe staffing and appropriate patient care.

Totally necessary to have a safe staffing bill in place, to make it mandatory and legal. With hospitals going towards profit and money saving tactics they are cutting staff causing poor nursing practices and poor patient safety.

Nurses and Doctor's are in business to SAVE lives. I would hate to visit NM. and be at risk should i need a hospital.

Hospitals are constantly cutting nursing staff, making the nurse to patient ratio very dangerous. Do you want to be cared for safely or not at all because your nurse is busy with someone else. Please help with safe staffing. Thank you

Safe staffing for patients and nurses! Because it can mean all the difference between "life" and "death".

Working Critical Care we really need this bill to pass. Taking care of 3 critically ill patients can be dangerous! Hope this does go through!!

To many patients for the staff nurse and this is really jepordizing the nursingn care that is being provided. The nurses are seeing way too many patients causing burn out in nurses.

I'm hoping that this bill extends to the long-term care facilities in NM as well as the hospitals. The risks are the same.

Absolutely support this! For too long we are understaffed and taking on unsafe patient loads! What a great thing this would be!

Nurses and hospital staff need your help to make patient care safe! We can only do so much without the staffing that is needed.

I totally agree with this and support it 100%, I was a hospital supervisor and had to staff the hospital and observed the nurse/patient ratio. I left the hospital setting after 17 years because I developed stressed induced asthma from trying to keep both the patients and nurses safe. It was more than I could handle. I saw the ratio shoot up and the patient quality care go down. Please pass this bill!
