We pay taxes for a reason...to be able to use parks!! What if I work 12 hours a day to be able to sustain a living and can't get home to walk the dogs. Disgusting!

No reason a compromise can't be found. There is plenty of parkland which is barely used during the work week, why can't at least one park/forrest be designated "dog friendly " ?

Dogs are voiceless family members! Responsible dog owners and dog walkers should be welcomed with every courteous considerations in our local parks...
Discrimination is unacceptable

I have a good friend that makes a good living doing this and to me this idea is appalling.

I walk the park often and have seen those dog walkers... they are very professional and friendly. I enjoy watching the dogs run and play together with the freedom of being away from roads, highways, schools, etc. Let them walk OUR trails....

Dog owners/walkers represent a significant percentage of the Greenwich population, but unfortunately their voice is often overruled by the few who sit on committees. Hopefully, this petition will show that our voices matter too.

Where do you expect dogs to be walked. Let them buy a permit that enables them to use dog parks.

As a dog walker myself, these parks are so important to us and most importantly the dogs! It allows them to socialize while being outdoors in different environments. Please help us keep our dogs in the park!

Please allow residents of any community to walk their dogs in Mianus Park as long as the dogs are well behaved and cleaned up after. Woodland walks are important to the health of dogs and should be shared by all civilized societies.

This law discriminates against busy, working people who are trying to take care of all aspects of their families. What's next, nannies can't take kids to the playground? Dogs are part of many families and the proper exercise and socialization of them with a professional dog walker is responsible and should be applauded by the town. Shame on the town of Greenwich!

Greenwich is turning into a hostile environment for animal lovers. Shame on you. Enough rules for owners with dogs, go focus on more serious matters.

As a greenwich resident who pays for my dog to have a license in the town it is ridiculous that someone cannot take my pet to a park if I am not there. This needs to be changed!

Really? Going after dog walkers in all town parks? Doesn't Greenwichbhave real problems to solve?
