Nothing but good things to say about Coach O. Class act coach, teacher and human. LSR7 continues to not have a backbone, bowing down to cancel culture and reacting harshly at a words notice. Disgraceful. LSR7 quality will continue to regress, especially when losing people like Coach O.

Coach Oswald is a fantastic person, father, teacher, and coach! I had the privilege of being a student manager on the basketball team during the 01-02 and 02-03 seasons. I have CP and could never play sports due to my disability but coach made sure I felt like I was part of the team. He taught me so much and treated me like any of the other boys!

My classroom is next door to Joe’s office. Over the course of 16 years, coach has stopped by my room to say “hi” and see how I am doing at least twice a week. During this year of Covid almost daily. NEVER over those 16 years have I heard Joe say anything disparaging regarding race. He is the consummate professional. Due Process is a RIGHT prior to dismissal. Our elected school board cannot rule properly without it. This abuse of power by a school district known for its professionalism is disgraceful. Allow the evidence to be put into context. Central office, specifically the Human Resources department, needs to be reviewed. Otherwise, this mismanagement of Due Process Rights could happen again. Joe Oswald’s 29-year career was stolen without even being heard. Keith Albert
