Greenville County has made it a priority to recruit new business, and to expand existing businesses. We need to be able to provide adequate, affordable housing in order to continue to recruit employees to the area.

We should work to resolve the traffic problems in the Five Forks area instead of denying every project brought forth. The land owners of the acreage to be developed have waited years for the sewer infrastructure to continue up Peters Creek as they have watched the numerous subdivisions in the Woodruff Road corridor approved at R-15 or R-12. It is only fair and consistent that these land owners have the same opportunity, especially since the proposed land use is consistent with Greenville County's Comprehensive Plan of 3 to 6 homes per acre (requesting for 2.6 homes per acre).
