We, the undersigned, have been made aware of the love triangle, drugs, and tragic events surrounding the murder committed by Eric Lloyd Hermansen in 1996. We are also aware of his remorse and his acceptance of responsibility for taking the life of his friend Harry Jones; his rehabilitative achievements, his secondary education accomplishments and the fulfillment of his obligation of being a law abiding citizen - indicative by his positive institutional behavior during the past 27 years. We, believe it is in the best interests of society to grant Mr. Hermansen parole as he no longer poses a threat to public safety having shown his ability to sucessfully re-intergrate as a prodcutive member of society.

Most people, in the heat of anger, make mistakes while others the betrayal is so hurtful they make the worst mistakes, repent, and deserve a second chance.

I understand that Harry's life was cut short. I also know an understand that Eric is a different man than he was in 1997. Please consider letting this man have a second chance at life as an adult.

A good man deserves another chance. We all make mistakes, sometimes we don't react well to bad circumstances.. please consider the challenges of readjusting to civilization...

I do not personally know this man but having read this article I do think that his being granted parole is the right decision. Drugs have destroyed many lives and sadly they have also caused the loss of many lives. If all that has been said of this man is true, giving him a chance once again be part of society seems to be the right thing to do.

I have known Eric most all of my life. i knew the man he was before. i know that same man has learned the law. I know he has been able to help inmates less fortunate with his legal skills. He has told me, I believe he will follow his incarceration with a legal career. Providing he follows the plan for his future if released, he should be an asset to whatever law firm that has him.
