Skaneateles, New York has welcomed visitors for decades, offering both residents and tourists myriad opportunities and year round commerce.

Currently, the Village Planning Board has recommended to the Village Board of Trustees to create a law that eliminates all Short Term Rental Properties within the Downtown District of Skaneateles.

This ban would limit a number of privately owned and operated Short Term Rentals, severely negatively impacting our local economy and limiting fair play and freedom of commerce amongst all residents and investors.

We are asking residents and guests to join us in Sharing Our Skaneateles to anyone who is interested in visiting be it a day, week, year or lifetime.
