The Maternity, Gynaecology and Paediatric Units at your local hospital, Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, Bodelwyddan are under threat of closure. If this closure takes effect then you will be forced to travel to Bangor or Wrexham to:
- Give birth if you are likely to require a Caesarean section or require one in an emergency
- To visit your baby should they need treatment on the Neonatal Unit
- Receive Paediatric emergency medical treatment and inpatient care for your child in the evening or at weekends
- Receive Gynaecology care

Think of the parents who dont have cars. How are they supposed to visit their sick kids? This will hurt so many families.
STOP CLOSING OUR SERVICES. Ysbyty Glan Clwyd needs its maternity unit. Hands off.
The travel time is dangerous. Simple as that. Put the patients first for once.
This is ridiculous. People live here. Expecting mums to travel all the way to Wrexham in labour is just asking for disaster. Keep the service open.
My daughter had her babies at Glan Clwyd and the care was amazing. Don't take this away from our community.

Absolute joke. How are we supposed to get to Bangor in an emergency? The roads are bad enough as it is.
