I spend several hundred dollars a weekend for me and family to enjoy this sport at different tracks. It would be a great addition to Ellijay revenue wise and create a strong core group in this community. Motocross is a great sport that keep families together.

A family that rides together stays together. Not only would GA motorcross families benefit from a track in Elijay, Elijay would benefit. This would bring a sick amount of revenue to the city...it's better than a super Walmart any day!! Motocross families have an insane amount of respect for each other, support each other, and care about each other. There is more nuisance than regular road traffic and noise curfews are enforced and followed anyhow so, why would people in the area be against this? Families are building strong you men and women in this sport, this is one of the best alternatives to organized sports and keeps children away from the bad influences they would normally face on fields. #bringonthetrack

Motocross is an excellent family sport! My boys certainly loved it growing up, they did bmx racing and Motocross right here in Ellijay, they wrestled and are now active wonderful adults, husbands and fathers. Ellijay needs engaging activities for the kids and families to enjoy together. If they are doing sports like this they aren't out being delinquents!!

Please allow this place to open a mx track in ellijay. I have three sons ages 14, 9, 3. They closed down the only place up here to ride, and now we have to drive over a hour to get somewhere to ride. My entire family rides, wife included. It's awesome to be able to go somewhere with your family and hang out with other family's doing what you love. Please allow this to happen.

The only way young men and women can enjoy this sport is with the help of their moms and dads. So they have to behave and spend time with their families which is highly beneficial to society at large. MX is a great family sport.

i think as a community we should really support any healthy outdoor activity. I am not a rider myself but I have known many riders and mountainee biked with some. Many of these riders are amazing athletes that live a healthy lifestyle and absolutely are an asset to our community.

We need more things to do in a small community, y'all all say why.is all the kids doing drugs, stealing, and not obeying well it's simple because there ain't nothing to do other than the bad things,

This need to happen in Gilmer County we have a massive drug problem amongst the youth and frankly this would be an alternative for teens and young adults to go have fun with out the use of drugs and alcohol. Because frankly when you get hooked on rideing every weekend you don't have the money or the will to spend the money on anything else but riding..

Hurting the environment?? Maybe people in Ellijay should worry more about the Meth use in town rather than a place for people of all ages to gather and have a good time.
