I own the track in Pickens County, Talking Rock Arena, Inc. Motorcross is a family oriented sport that involves everyone in the family. It's an awesome way for families to unite and spend lots of time together. We have a great group of people of all ages that ride here. You build an extended family really and it's pretty cool to know all these great folks. This is the kind of sport that keeps kids grounded at home, in school and the community. It's a very good thing to have different tracks in the area to promote jobs and to bring in revenue for the county. We bank here in Pickens County, buy all the fuel etc. to work on the tracks, parts for equipment and purchases. It's a big win for the county to encourage this kind of business. Riders stop and buy gas, drinks, food and all kinds of purchases within the county when their patrons ride at the tracks. So please consider this facility for a great opportunity for people to be involved in the sport of motorcross within Gilmer County. It's tourism at its best. The local businesses will appreciate the business. Thank-you, CJ Tritt for Talking Rock Arena, Inc.

We need more places to ride in North Georgia instead of going to other cities and states to spend our money.

We're local farmers and understand the concerns of many but also we know the importance of "family time"! We've been around this sport our whole lives and my husband and children have always enjoyed participating in it! It's a great way to spend time together after a long week of working hard!
