Support for Dr. Alexandre Vautravers as Head of Webster University Geneva International Relations Department
We the undersigned disagree with the removal of Dr. Alexandre Vautravers as the Departmental Head of Webster University Geneva's International Relations Department.
Dr. Vautravers is widely known in Geneva and Switzerland for his teaching excellence, his involvement in the Swiss military, and for his appearances throughout Swiss media including print, television, internet, and radio. Despite inherent time demands of such extensive involvement in the field of International Relations, media, and the military, Dr. Vautravers showed his devotion to us as students through individual attention to the extent that each of us always felt like a valued student.
Further, we the undersigned students believe that Dr. Vautravers has proven to be the most suitable and qualified candidate to lead the International Relations Department at Webster Geneva, and the void created by the absence of Dr. Vautravers’ leadership and organizational skills is already apparent.
Regardless of whether the decision can be changed, we as a group, under our own volition, felt that our opinion should be expressed. We feel that the value of our education, as well as the prestige of Webster University Geneva, was much higher under the leadership of Dr. Vautravers.
