5Pointz is an amazing place that has been though a lot... It's a place that had a lot of art history (and still does) even though it was painted over it still means a lot too millions.

It is a shame that our "now" is about the cookie cutter mold of sky scrappers, condos and malls and nothing is reserved for our culture and past. The youth of now have no clue of true movement, self expression via mental and physical creativity. Everything now is via an iPhone or iPad or some kind of app. There is no longer the connection to the human spirit. I hope this does move forward and 5 pointz does stay because it would be a true shame to see so much creativity, connection and involvement thrown away.

Please save this landmark. I am from London but used to live in New York and there is nothing on the scale similar to this anywhere else in the world, least of all in one of the greatest cities in the world.

Everyone, think about the first time you walked up to 5 Pointz, with 3 building sides surrounding you, and how your senses were bombarded with art and beaut and culture. Do you remember that first rush of love? I do! 5 Pointz holds a place right smack in the middle of my heart. I am distraught that someone would even consider tearing this cultural meeting place down....I'm heartbroken...... I don't think a single person should back down and let this happen! Please!!! Stand up and fight for 5 Pointz!
