Save Our Schools -- Sign this Petition! Support 4 Schools is a group of citizens from throughout Martin County who have the same purpose in mind: for all of our county schools to be treated equally and with fairness. The Martin County Board of Education is in a strong push to close Bear Grass and Jamesville High Schools. These schools are excellent schools with wonderful students and some of the best teachers anywhere in communities that love their schools and support them whole heartedly. Support 4 Schools is not only people from the Bear Grass and Jamesville areas but also includes people from throughout our whole county. We are asking everyone to get involved and help us out. There are many different ways that you can help. We need strong voices to write letters and make phone calls to the Martin County and the State Board of Education members expressing all concerns, but we do ask that you do this in a polite manner. Support 4 Schools in no way advocates threatening or harassing any of our public officials. Threats are no way to take care of business. We also need your support at all meetings. This is our future we are talking about so make these meetings your #1 priority. We also need monetary contributions for legal aid. Whether a small or large amount, one time, weekly or monthly donations, we need everything we can get. These donations are tax deductible and rest assured this money will be used to help fight for our schools. This money is being monitored very closely and any left over will be given back to the communities. It is time for Martin County Board of Education members to put their personal agendas aside and do what they are supposed to be doing: working for the people. So please join with us and demand better for the students of Martin County.
