Support the Washington State Prescribing Psychologist Bill: Expanding Access to Quality Healthcare

Everyone human deserves the right to have access to healthcare.

Healthcare is for everyone. There needs to be specialized training for the mental health professional that treat and care for the DHHDB community.

I support this important legislation, as granting prescriptive authority to appropriately trained psychologists would significantly expand access to timely, comprehensive mental health care—especially for underserved communities including the deaf community in Washington. This is a common-sense step toward addressing our statewide mental health crisis.
