As a tax payer of Round Rock ISD, my signature below is in support of the Vertical Alignment Plan.  The long range plan developed by Erik Okerholm, whose logic, data and boundaries has proven to be correct from three years ago to today. This Vertical Alignment Plan is the only long range plan that keeps ALL middle school children together to high school and potentially saves the district millions over the next ten years, through a more efficient, balanced, and proactive spread of capacity and enrollments across the district. Minimal disturbance to HS Boundaries and families are re-established for 8+ years in the VA Plan. Drastic boundary changes will be required in the District’s proposed plan by 2016 if not sooner, should growth happen faster than projected and increases costs.

These signatures will reflect the desire of tax payers and parents of RRISD students to have their elected representatives on the RRISD Board of Trustee support a boundary re-alignment plan that ensures middle and high school campuses are aligned vertically.  In addition, an alignment philosophy is adopted by the Board of Trustees to ensure future re-alignments will make the maintenance of a vertically aligned middle and high schools a priority in RRISD.

Save money, but most importantly save our kids by allowing the schools to be vertically aligned!

A change for the better. A change for the future. A change for our children.

My kids have had enough stress with school boundaries. Give us some stability for once.

Keep the middle schools together! It makes way more sense for the kids and for our taxes too.

Finally some common sense. We dont need to be moving kids around every few years just because the district cant plan ahead.

This plan is just smarter math. Stop ignoring the data.

Why do they always make things so complicated? Stick to the plan that actually keeps families in their schools longer.
