Spent 7 years of my life at this school and don't regret it one bit. Lovely teachers and caring community around it. Depressing to see it go

I am fully in support of Tullycarnet Primary school. This community deserves to have local facilities for their children. Many households do not have cars and people should not be forced to travel long distances to access basic services. I want to offer the community and this school my full support.

Ridiculous proposal to close this ps in a densely populated area forcing more parents and children to travel, increasingthe carbon footprint, adding to congestion and the risk of more children being a ksi statistic when they are involved in an RTA/RTC!

With so many houses being built in and around Dundonald school places are becoming few the effort should be put into tullycarnet to remain open to try and turn it around so the local people will want to send their children there . Just take a look back in history what has happened when they closed a school in the area and take into consideration the new builds the primary schools will not be able to cope with the numbers .

It's vital that Tullycarnet Primary school is retained not just for the children who attend but for the community. Every household will be effected if the school closes.
