Tony Spalla has been an employee for over 8 years at Trail and this is the first time he has had a problem with a student. He has always been very friendly and kind to the kids. The incident that caused him to be suspended, probably could have been handled differently, we, the staff, do understand. However, many Bloom Trail students have little or no respect for adults and who ignore reasonable requests and instructions. At any time, anyone of us could react in the same way-not meaning any harm-but simply going into overdrive from being overwhelmed with the rampant disrespect and stress it creates. He surely deserves a second chance. We feel sure the reaction will not be repeated.
