The school board confirmed this morning that Tracy Mintz is reinstated as principal. We are currently coordinating with the local administration to ensure an orderly transition back to her leadership role. Please remain observant as we monitor the implementation of this agreement over the coming weeks.
The volume of support has moved this issue onto the radar of the district board. I have requested a formal meeting with the superintendent to discuss the reinstatement of Tracy Mintz.

Tracy Mintz is the best thing that ever happened to CES!!!! My kids love her as well as I do. The kids are not the same every day, walking in that school it just feels different and feels like the tension is so high. We need her back this is not right, Its not right the way it was done. PLEASE BRING HER BACK!!!!!!

Praying for this special lady & our school. It’s been a change not having her there & not one that I personally like. I drive 20 minutes just so my son can attend this awesome school & a lot of that has to do with Mrs. Mintz. It’s sad when your child gets in the car everyday & says it’s just so different now. We need her back, she really is so valuable.

She is fair, honest, and all around wonderful person. Duplin county made a huge mistake when you dismissed Mrs. Mintz. She truly cared. You could talk to her and not be made to feel like you were being dismissed. Some treat you as such. They're to high up on their high horse. You made a horrible mistake Duplin county, hugh.

Tracy is treated unfairly for something she has been ACCUSED of but not proved of anything. She has been given an injustice that is not fair to her or the students, staff and parents of CES. Come on people, she needs your support and get back to the job that she loves,

I support this effort to reinstate Tracy Mintz. She has been an excellent influence to our children. Not only will you typically see here attending extra curricular activities for CES but normally most or all the rec and community events as well. In my opinion, she cares greatly for our school, our children and our community and has been an exceptional asset to CES.

Tracy is an excellent leader, I did my student teaching at CES and then she hired me as a teacher. I am no longer at CES but while I was there she was supportive of what I needed and always put the students first. Every Wednesday she would hold a morning devotion for the staff members who wanted to attend before school. I cannot think of a better leader for CES and I am truly saddened by her leaving, especially the fact that it is so hush hush that CES staff were told if they said anything their jobs would be on the line.
