TRC is using the same fields we've have for 40 years with programs that have gone from under 20 players (TRC Girls' Lacrosse in the early 90's when my mom began the program) to hundreds of girls now. We need the space and maintainence for our kids and our community. Let's do better, Towson.

Fees are already a way for large developments to avoid including the required open spaces in their developments. There is no need or reasonable justification to waive the requirement all together. To do so is short sighted and undermines the long term health of our community.
Open space funds could be used to support many things; from turf fields, rec leagues, streetscaping, greening of the roadways via plantings and planters, a circulator bus...

I am not sure that artificial turf fields are what Open Space should be, Caves Valley Developers should contribute to actual REAL green apce

Well cared for and accessible open space is more valuable to this tax payers then housing for out of town students.

open space is important for our children and our children's children! No need for them to grow up on a planet filled with pavement.
Stop trying to turn Towson into Silver Spring North!!
