Why should developers in Towson be exempt from fees they would pay in any orhter area?

Open space is important for our children as well as to make the areas we live in desireable and attractive.

People will not want to live in the new mixed-use housing in Towson if there is not enough green space.

This issue is important to ALL children in the Towson area. Nothing is more critical than open space and mistakes made now cannot be "undone" in the future. Let's think ahead!

Open space fees as a cost of development is standard practice when requirements are not able to be met. Most jurisdictions simply require that balance. Smart development balances these issues and i hope our representatives that investment in development without support of open space diminishes the quality of our community. Be thoughtful about how our limited resources are used.

I was a Towson resident for 12 years and health issues/need for clean air would prevent me from moving back.

Open Space should be within walking distance, and include basketball courts, benches, trees.
