Todd Gloria respects the perspectives of all parties at the table and by doing so gets to our common goals without compromising his values and everyone feels represented. That rare leadership has benefited all San Diegans, including those who historically have had no voice - our homeless neighbors. Please give him the term to continue his great leadership.

Todd Gloria has demonstrated his commitment to all of the residents of our city, not just those that reside within his council district. There is no other council member who has the experience and qualifications that Todd Gloria has. He should be reappointed as Council President based on his credentials and his track record. To consider appointing anyone else is politics at its worst. San Diegans deserve the most qualified person appointed to this important position. He is the most successful Council President our city has ever had. There is no logical reason to make any changes.

I stand firmly behind Councilman Todd Gloria as Preseident of the City Council. is not because he is a Democrat or happens to be a member of the LGBT community that I stand with him. It is because I find him to be one of the most articulate public servants of all the people of San Diego I have yet to see in San Diego Politics. Do I always agree with him, his actions or decisions? No, I do not, but I do believe every decision he makes or action that he takes is carefully thought through and made in the best interest of all San Diegans. He knows when it is necessary to compromise and how to best collaborate and cooperate with his diverse constituency to get things done rather than to insist on always getting them done his way and his way only. That is the mark of a true statesman. Todd is a man of action who will never let his personal ambitions or views stand in the way of serving all the people of San Diego to the best of his ability.
