As a taxpayer without any children in the schools, I vigorously urge others in my situation to support these efforts. Having a new school building shows our commitment not just to the parents and children of Waltham, but to Waltham as a city. When the schools in Waltham are the absolute best they can be, all residents benefit.

Yes they need a new high school they have updated all the elementary schools to middle schools but have not done the high school over now they need to before the school collapse and hurts our children

In order to be prepared for the 21st century, we need a building built to address the 21st century needs, not a building that has been retrofitted to try and accommodate the needs of our ever improving and advancing public school system.
Also- Waltham is quickly becoming a go-to town for young families, and a new high school would be a great way to convince them to come here- that Waltham has a great school system ready to more our children toward successful futures.

It's time to get rid of the old dilapidated buildings in this city, including the high school, fire stations and police stations. With all the money from the commercial real estate where is it going? Time to bring Waltham into this millenium.

I lived in Waltham. My son was bored there. My son went to the Kennedy middle school, he's a black boy. He has experienced a lots of racism from that schools from principal, assistance principal, teachers and students. They gave him a police record over nothing. I love my black son and I resent waltham schools. It's a disgrace for waltham.
