this is a wonderful opportunity to teach students responsible firearms ownership, and good citizenship. legal gun ownership is not the problem and never has been. Kudos to Simpson for not caving to the political correctness bullies.

Proud to be a Simpson grad. My nephew was a star trap shooter in high school and currently on his junior college team. This is a true sport!!

I believe that people should be encouraged to learn responsible use and accuracy in the use of firearms, the younger the better. This a right AND a responsibility that is well learned in a well-schooled setting. I appreciate that Simpson College is at the forefront of this movement by offering and continuing this program.

I think it is fantastic that you are taking the time to show how firearms used properly can still be considered a sport.

Shoot in the Iowa State on campus range and loved it. Great club to offer

I am 100% FOR the shooting sports program at the school. More schools should have shooting sports programs.

Shooting is a great sport for students interested in a lifetime sport.

This is a wonderful, lifelong sport.

There is a certain discipline being a marksman, and physical conditioning is required as in any sport. Where would this country be if it were not for our forefathers that were proud to be good marksman.

I support Simpson College and any other college/high school that offers this program!
