This is great! My 10 year old daughter was just talking about colleges should have shooting sports and scholarships! She loves archery and air rifle at her school and 4-h shooting club.

My son, now 21, has grown up shooting organized trap. He is an A student and this in no way promotes violence. Broken homes do.

My nephew loves this sport. He has shown more interest and dedication to it than any other sort he has participated in. It would be a shame for this to end when he is just getting started.

I'm all in favor of your shooting program. Please continue it, and expand it! Busy body's in Wash DC, need to mind their own business, and the Des Moines Register should do the same!

please do not fall to the wishes of the social justice warriors. Clubs like this need to continue and educate the masses for gun safety, sportsmanship, and protection of our 2nd amendment rights.

Denial of Second Amendment rights is illegal discrimination, a denial of civil rights, and a cause of action to sue the bums blind if they try to step on students' gun rights. It would be like saying " you have to sell yourself into prostitution and slavery and give up your right to vote if you want to come to school here."
