My daughter attends here and the amount of lorry's and cars that speed down the road at school opening and closing times is dreadful, it's only a matter of time before somebody is hurt or even worse!
Something need to be done to improve the safety of the crossing as well as the parking.

Lolly pop people are definitely needed. Cutbacks are just ridiculous. I've noticed Padgste Lane doesn't have one now so St Oswalds children have to cross on their own. Not good enough. They should be a necessity.

My grandchildren attend this school and I am most concerned with the lack of safety and support for the children crossing. It is imperative that a "lolly pop person" be in attendance for the safety of the children at all school times. Please this is are future that is being put at risk.

Children's safety should be the council's main priority, not saving money!

We even had incidents where the lollipop lady was nearly run down...but there are more incidents where children are nearly run over now. This is a busy road and needs a crossing patrol.

The road is very busy and frequently has HGV lorries parked along it making it incredibly difficult to drive safely.

My children go to this school, the amount of cars AND HGV'S that drive at a ridiculous speed down this road just to avoid traffic but endangering a child's life is a dangerous joke!! Something nees to be done before another child is hurt or worse.

Don't know how they can say thereidbt enough people that would use the crossing. There used to be a lollipop lady at each of those very busy roads - 3 of them! So how can it go down to non! Nothing has changed apart from more housing- more children - more traffic!
How about WBC puts done of the money which they are getting from the merseyside waste collection and put it to the lollipop jobs and better still stop the wagons speeding down the road!
