Support the reinstatement of Gilbert Orban at Marsh Supermarket in Lawrence

Gilbert is a staple in the heart of Lawrence. Please do what is right by Gilbert and the community who supports the Franklin Road Marsh and give Gilbert his job back!

Gilbert is a part of Lawrence, he should be given a chance and be reinstated.

Everytime I visit that store, I look around to see if Gilbert is there, I don't think I've ever met a person with a kinder heart or soul, yeah sometimes he would give me a hard time, but it was all in good fun, everytime I did manage to talk to Gilbert, he "always" asked about my family , as my wife Rhonda worked there, so they know each other, but he always asked how my daughter is, you made a mistake in terminating one of your best promoters if your brand, I will "NOT" shop there anymore until he is reinstated with full back pay, so I figure I spend about $300 every 2 weeks in your store, can you afford to lose customers that on average spend about the same amount every 2 weeks, please reconsider your actions, this man does not have one mean bone in his body

Sad I've know Gilbert all my life he was a good childhood friend. This is discrimination because of his disability. They were cutting his hours already

Gilbert has always been a loyal and dedicated young man at his employment. Everyone in Lawrence knows Gilbert. He would help many carrying their bags of groceries. And he would take your cart inside if weather was bad. Gilbert is Marsh Store. For many of us look for him. And when we see him it puts a smile on our face seeing he's happy doing what he likes to do. Pleasing the community with his gracious acts of kindness. What was done to Gilbert needs to be reviewed correctly. Gilbert does not have one single sense of evil in him. For he is a gentleman who would take his back off for a fellow being in help. I moved from that neighborhood but do remember Gilbert. He always had a smile and hello for everyone.

Gilbert has been a friendly and helpful employee at Marsh for as long as I can remembr.

Give Gilbert his job back! I remember him from when I was a kid. Anyone that can leave a lasting impression like that has a major impact on the business and community!

I can't believe you fired Gilbert over a 'prank'...really? Are you sure this doesn't have anything to do with the fact he is a full time employee and since Marsh is having to close some stores, feels the need to rid its self of some full time employees to save money by not having to offer them benefits? Where is Marsh's dedication to it's employees? Does 25 years not mean anything to you? I'll help in spreading the word to boycott shopping at Marsh until Gilbert is reinstated with full benefits just as before!!
