Gilbert has been an asset to that store since I can remember. He is everything you could possibabiliy want in a front end service person. As a scoutmaster for him and a friend in his adult life, I would recommend him for reinstatement. If this is a job force reduction find someone else who is not doing their job. Gilbert is a fine upstanding citizen of Lawrence and I am proud to call him friend

I knew Gilbert for many years. In addition to his job atMarsh, he was a wobderful citizen of Lawrence who always had time to help people. My dad, Kenneth Mahoney, lived on Van Cleave St. for many years before he passed away. Gilbert used to stop by his house and help him shovel snow or take out his trash or just shoot the breeze. My dad really apreciated his visits and his help. I don't know what the circumstances are to his being terminated, but I find it hard to believe it's anything serious enough for Gilbert to be fired. Please reconsider your decision.

I remember Gilbert, I went to school with his sister Lori and he worked there with my ex husband. He was always a nice man to me and my daughter when I would go in there to shop, always willing to take out my groceries to the car.

That Marsh will never be the same without Gilbert especially always telling my kids to do their homework and listen to their parents. He is a inspiration to the city. He must be brought back
