As the Student Governing Board president at the Outback, I can wholeheartedly say that the Outback is a valuable asset to the youths of this town. The teen center offers very appealing events to a wide variety of kids (Comedy Night, Dances, Video Game tournaments.....) and deserves to have its funding. I know countless kids in the high school that would be devastated if they heard that the Outback's existence could be in jeopardy due to a cut in the funding.

The OB is absolutely neccessary to provide our kids a safe venue through which to socialize, congregate, just hang out and stay off the streets (or the Mobile gas staion). We have 5 children and do appreciate the Outback.

The Outback is an important part of our community for the programs it offers to both adults, teenagers and children. Please continue to support this important venue and all of the hard work our dedicated volunteers have put into making it a safe venue for our children to socialize and learn.
