To whom it may concern, I'm writing on behalf of Chauncy Spencer, myself and the community of Mattapan, Massachusetts at large. I have benefited greatly from my friends and neighbors in Mattapan and it would be remiss for me to neglect this situation, as it impacts us all directly. I have been made aware of the situation regarding Chauncy's business, 'The 420 Mattapan/High Tech Farms' and some hold ups which are of serious concern to me. Chauncy is an upstanding member of more than just our Mattapan community. He is a gift to our greater Boston communities, our larger north east and national cannabis community and a fierce and diplomatic advocate for human and civil rights across the board. In my time spent with Mr. Spencer, I have witnessed truly great acts in someone with a superb mind for business, (quite a rarity in today's world). He has a constant focus on uplifting and supporting those coming up out of the criminal justice system and is a champion for the disenfranchised. He has first hand experience navigating through the system, he has proven success where others failed. He works burning his candle at both ends and continues to be a supportive friend and magnificently responsible, caring, single father to his children through it all. He defies stigma and dismantles barriers of systemic racism and elitism by mere existence which is vital to acknowledge here, in my opinion. Watching him be ignored, by all intents and purposes, has been horrible. I can not, in good conscience stand by and watch this man being destroyed by the bureaucratic process. The current circumstances are untenable at best. To the best of my knowledge, as of this moment, this man has been paying $5,000 a month in rents for 2 years without fail and without the right to utilize the space as intended. He is a model citizen and tenant which any landlord, business partner and city would be lucky to have. I myself, have landlorded and done property management for almost 2 decades and have

You refuse to give my people reparations. You have made billions upon the incarceration of my people and any that may not look like you. So what's your problem with this REALLY???

I support Chauncey Spencer and 420 Mattapan. Chauncey is local guy that was harmed by the war on drugs an works hard to educate an advocate for our community.

I just want to say this men is doing and going by all laws. If he didnt the same people holding them licenses are the first one to say jail time. Now that it's legal and we as a Americans are following the procedures it's taking time, I think this brother is doing great things and will continue. I fully support Chauncy Spencer ✊
