“The 420” is Boston’s first proposed cannabis dispensary and cultivation facility located at 1626 Blue Hill avenue in Mattapan Square. We are a Black-owned, family-owned business and certified with the state of Massachusetts as an “Economic Empowerment applicant” which should have provided us with a recognized priority status. Like the employees we intend to hire from the areas of disproportionate impact by the war on drugs, we are from the community.

We have been waiting for almost 2 years for our letter of support from a city councilor while struggling to pay rent on a building we are unable to use, so we as asking for help. Please sign the petition as a demonstration of support of our business in Mattapan Square, and help end this wait by requesting the city honor it’s commitment to our company. We will send this petition to the newly elected City Councilman Ricardo Arroyo, and request a letter of support so that we can move forward in the process after years of waiting.
